Aynor is a small town in Horry County, South Carolina, located about 15 miles northwest of Conway. It has a population of approximately 888 people. Aynor is home to the Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival, which is held annually in the fall and features food, entertainment, and crafts.
Conway, on the other hand, is the county seat of Horry County, with a population of about 23,714 people. It is located along the Waccamaw River and is known for its historic downtown area, which features many unique shops and restaurants. Conway is also home to Coastal Carolina University, which has a student population of more than 10,000.
